Helping Cats Through Adoption Options

There are a number of ways that our HHCS cats can be helped. 1) Adoption: On the previous pages we have listed cats that are currently available for adoption. If any of these interest you, please email us at healinghopecs@att.net. We will then send you an adoption application and also give you a call back.

Foster Program for Temporary Companionship

If you are not ready to adopt but perhaps would like the companionship of one of our felines, please consider FOSTERING for us. HHCS will provide all food and litter; if a medical situation arises, we will either handle it here at HHCS or have you take the cat to our vet. If this interests you, please email us at healinghopecs@att.net. We will schedule a time to talk and discuss your living situation and what type of cat you would like to foster.

Volunteer Opportunities for Sanctuary Assistance

Volunteer opportunities: We have many ways you can help in this capacity. Here are just a few:
a) Direct hands-on care at our home-based cat sanctuary. This would involve cleaning both indoors and in our outdoor area. Cleaning cages, sweeping, and changing and cleaning litter boxes are just a few things that we need constant help with.
b) If you are knowledgeable in handling and medicating animals, we might request that you aid us with some of the cats.
c) Yard work: Sweeping, raking, and trimming bushes are constant needs here.
d) Transportation: If you live near San Clemente, we sometimes need help with taking cats to our vet in Mission Viejo.
e) Computer work: If you are tech-savvy, we would love your help in various endeavors, such as sending out email blasts or helping with certain fundraising projects. This would especially be helpful if you have experience with graphic design.
f) Any creative fundraising ideas are greatly needed. We welcome those people who have skills in this area.
