Donations, Sponsorship and Fundraising
It takes approximately $90 per cat per month to support our HHCS cats. These costs are for their basic needs, such as food, litter, flea treatments, dewormer, and other simple meds. This is before any hands-on veterinary care (one of our greatest expenses) and property upkeep. Currently, we are at 21 cats, and so these general costs alone run almost $2,000 a month. It is not uncommon for our total monthly expenses to run around $4,500.
Monetary Donations and Payment Options
There are numerous ways you can help the HHCS. 1) Monetary donations can be made in these ways:
a) Zelle: Done via our mutual banks. This is a quick, convenient, and secure way to transfer money with NO FEES!
b) PayPal: This is done by email to our email address of healinghopecs@att.net. Or use this button below. PayPal does usually charge small fees.
c) Send us a check: Make checks out to Healing Hope Cat Sanctuary, not HHCS. Mail to: KimRockshaw/HHCS,

d) If you are short on funds but would still like to help, please consider becoming a monthly subscriber. Just click on this SUBSCRIBE button below. You can then choose the amount for each monthly donation, which is taken out of your PayPal account on the same date each month. Subscriptions are really great for us, as we can actually plan on the funds we will get each month.
Gifts of Supplies and Donations
Gifts of supplies such as food and litter. You can always send us a gift card via email to Chewy.com or go to our Amazon Wish List at Amazon.com. If, for some reason, this link does not work, email us at healinghopecs@att.net. We can then send you a new, current link.
Donations to Veterinary Care
If you would like to donate to our vet bills, you can do so by contacting Animal and Bird Clinic of Mission Viejo (949) 768-3651. (Just tell them you are donating for the cats of Kim Rockshaw/HealingHopeCatSanctuary.) ****Please note: Direct donations to a veterinarian are NOT tax deductible.
Community Grocery Programs for Support
Grocery Shop and Help Our Cats! If you have a membership number (card) with Ralphs grocery store, we are part of their community outreach program. Once you enlist, every time you shop and use your number, we will receive a percentage of your purchase as a donation. Currently, we have been receiving at least $80 per quarter from this program. To enroll HHCS as your “beneficiary,” go to Ralphs.com. If you are already a member, log in. Then go to step no. 2 to find the charity of your choice. Follow the easy instructions from there.
